Juha Laiho

Juha Laiho has extensive work experience in the energy and finance sectors. Juha currently serves as the VP of Strategic Solutions at iogen, where they are responsible for leading deal origination and structuring efforts for biomethane supply chains. Prior to this, Juha worked as the MD and Head of Energy Americas at ICBC Standard Bank Plc, where they managed energy deals and assets in the Americas region. Juha also held the role of SVP - Head of Energy Merchant Services at INTL FCStone Inc., where they successfully built a physical energy business. Before that, Juha worked at BP as the Managing Director - Structured Products, where they focused on securing business with US-based oil consumers, refiners, blenders, and marketers. Juha also worked at Wachovia Bank, where they held roles such as Director of Commodity Derivatives and Vice President of Commodity Derivatives, leading marketing strategies for energy derivatives and expanding the physical trading market. Earlier in their career, Juha held various roles at Neste Oil, including Vice President of Oil Products & Components Trading, Vice President of Products Trading, Crude Oil Trader, and Risk Manager.

Juha Laiho completed their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Industrial Economics from Tampere University of Technology from 1985 to 1991.
