Amir Gerges

Amir Gerges serves as the Group Chief HSE Officer at ADNOC, where they focus on elevating health, safety, and environmental standards. With extensive experience at Shell, including roles such as Vice President of Group Safety and Vice President of Integrated Gas & Renewables, they developed a strong background in operations and project management. Amir’s commitment to operational excellence and sustainability is reflected in their leadership in fostering a safety-driven culture and integrating innovative HSE strategies globally. They also hold the position of Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors at IOGP, continuing to influence the energy sector through collaborative efforts. Amir earned a degree from The American University in Cairo between 1997 and 2002.
