Jared Best

Jared Best has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Jared currently works at ioki as a Product Engineer. Prior to this, they worked at GIRO as a Solutions Developer and Application Analyst. Jared also has experience working at E2open as an Associate Solution Architect, PTV Group as a Support Consultant, and Siemens as a Working Student. Additionally, they have held positions at Technical University Munich as an English Writing Center Fellow, University of Waterloo as a Course Assistant, Ford Motor Company as an Intern, Ecology and Environment, Inc as an Environmental Engineer, and Bergmann Associates as an Environmental Summer Intern.

Jared Best has a comprehensive education history that includes several degrees and certifications. Jared first pursued their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) with Distinction in Environmental Engineering at Clarkson University from 2009 to 2013. Following this, they attended the University of Waterloo in 2013 and 2014, although they did not receive a degree during this time.

In 2015, Jared enrolled in the Technical University of Munich where they obtained their Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Urban Environments & Transportation in 2018. Jared then continued their studies at the same institution to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Transportation Planning & Modeling, which they are expected to complete in 2024.

Additionally, Jared has obtained various certifications throughout their career. In 2013, they became an Intern Engineer (EIT) certified by the New York State Education Department. Subsequently, they acquired the PTV Vision Certified Trainer certification from PTV Group in 2018. Jared has also completed several online courses such as the Learn C++ Course from Codecademy in 2023, the Complete C# Masterclass from Udemy in 2021, and the Unity Junior Programmer certification from Unity Technologies in 2021. Furthermore, Jared has obtained the Data Science Professional Certificate from Coursera in 2020, as well as the Python Essential Training certification from LinkedIn in the same year.
