Katrin Keßler began their work experience in 2013 as a FaMI im Bereich: Information und Multimedia at Deutsche Nationalbibliothek. In this role, they provided consultation, assistance, and detailed research for customers, as well as virtual provision of electronic media. Katrin then worked as a FaMI im Bereich: Ausleihe und Information at Fachhochschule Darmstadt from May 2015 to June 2016, where they offered guidance, support, and research for students, as well as media lending and repair. From July 2016 to February 2019, Katrin worked as a FaMI im Bereich: Zeitschriften - und Lizenzverwaltung at Deutsche Bundesbank, managing customer data and media of the library, assisting employees, and contributing to public relations. Subsequently, they continued their tenure at Deutsche Bundesbank as a FaMI im Bereich: Ausleihe und Information from July 2016 to April 2022. Katrin'sresponsibilities included advising and assisting employees, as well as managing customer data and media for the library. Currently, Katrin serves as a Product Engineer at ioki – a DB company, having started in May 2022.

Katrin Keßler started their education in 2008 at Eugen-Kaiser-Schule Hanau, where they pursued an apprenticeship in Assistentin Systemgastronomie. Katrin completed this program in 2010. From 2010 to 2013, they attended Bibliothekszentrum Klosterbau in Friedberg, where they pursued another apprenticeship in Fachangestellte für Medien- und Informationsdienste, Fachrichtung Bibliothek.
