Devender Singh

Devender Singh has extensive work experience in the field of environment, health, and safety (EHS) in the pharmaceutical industry. Devender is currently serving as an Associate Vice President EHS & Sustainability and previously worked as a General Manager EHS & S at IOL Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals Limited. Prior to that, they held the position of Deputy General Manager - EHS at Ipca Laboratories Limited from 2019 to 2021. Devender also worked as an Assistant General Manager - EHS at Mylan Laboratories Limited from 2018 to 2019. Devender Singh started their career at LUPIN LIMITED in 2008 as a Sr. Executive Environment, where they gained expertise in zero discharge facility operations and ISO 14000 & OHSAS 18001. Earlier, they had worked as an Officer- Effluent Treatment Plant at DSM Anti Infectives India Ltd. throughout 2003 to 2008.

Devender Singh has a diverse education history. Devender obtained an MBA in Marketing from Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology - SMU in 2008-2009. Prior to that, they completed an M.Sc. in Chemistry with a focus on Advanced Organic Chemistry from Barkatullah Vishwavidyalaya between 2001 and 2003. Devender also holds a Bachelor of Science degree from H.P. Board of school education Dharamshala, completed in 1999. Furthermore, Devender has acquired additional certifications, including being a Certified Professional in Resource Efficiency and Sustainability from the Confederation of Indian Industries, and an Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety Management from MSBTE.
