Alex Schmidt

Alex Schmidt is an experienced Sr. Delivery Engineer specializing in hosted services, currently employed at ION since June 2019, following a similar role at Fidessa. With a strong background in technical deliverables and project management for trading and investment systems, Alex has a proven track record in client engagements and implementation processes. Prior experience includes various engineering and technical roles at Linedata, where responsibilities spanned software installation, automation, and advanced technical escalations. Alex also possesses foundational experience as an IT consultant and environmental scientist, complemented by a Master’s degree in Information Systems from Northeastern University and a Bachelor’s degree in Marine Safety & Environmental Protection from Massachusetts Maritime Academy.
