Florian Leitner

Florian Leitner is currently the Head of Machine Learning at ION Analytics, where they focus on building AI teams and automating workflows in the capital markets. With a strong foundation in molecular biology, capital markets, and statistics, Florian has previously held roles at Novartis Vienna, the Heidelberg Institute for Theoretical Studies, and served as a Faculty member at IE University. Their prior experience also includes being a Post-doctoral fellow in BioNLP at CNIO and a Juan De La Cierva fellow in Data Science at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. Florian completed a Master of Science at Universität Wien and earned a Doctor of Philosophy from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
