James Eckhoff currently serves as the Head of Advisory Engagement - EMEA at ION, a position held since July 2021. Prior to this role, James worked at Acuris from April 2018 to July 2021, where responsibilities included Strategic Account Director and Team Lead for Fixed Income EMEA. Before Acuris, James took a sabbatical for independent travel, exploring North and South America, and previously worked at Pepper Financial Services Group as a Business Development Manager and Relationship Manager from July 2014 to June 2017. Early career experiences include positions at Davies Collison Cave and Meenan Wines & Spirits Ltd. James holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics from the University of Otago, completed between 2008 and 2012.
