Patrick Lloyd

Patrick Lloyd is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as General Counsel at ION and as a Non-Executive Director at Tennis Ireland. With extensive experience at Flutter Entertainment Plc, Patrick held roles as Group Commercial Strategy Adviser and Group Senior Legal Counsel, managing key M&A and corporate finance transactions, including Flutter’s merger with the Stars Group. Previously, Patrick was Senior Legal Counsel at Paddy Power Betfair, focusing on commercial supply relationships, and worked as a Senior Associate at Clifford Chance, specializing in private equity and infrastructure. Patrick’s career began as a Paralegal at A&L Goodbody, and includes a secondment to World Rugby, where significant sponsorship agreements were negotiated for the Rugby World Cup 2015. Patrick holds an LLM from the University of Oxford, an Executive MBA from Trinity College Dublin, and degrees in Law and Corporate Law from the University of Galway.
