Wayne Asbell has over 20 years of experience in logistics and operations management. Wayne began their career in 1996 as a Distribution Center Supervisor at Smithfield Foods. In 2000, they moved to Griffin Industries, Inc. as a Dock Manager, where they were responsible for the collection of raw materials from customers in a three state area and the distribution of raw material to 3 different operations facilities. In 2003, they became a Warehouse Manager at A. Duda & Sons, Inc., where they managed a ground-up establishment of a Cold Storage Distribution Center to provide storage for both Duda produced frozen foods and outside customers. In 2005, they became a Logistics Supervisor at Unilever, where they were responsible for the raw material and packaging needs of production, as well as the palletizing, inventory and shipment of all finished goods. In 2009, they began working at Jagged Peak as an Operations Manager, where they were responsible for all material movements within the warehouse to meet the needs of Production, and they also performed inventory management and monitored daily reporting to ensure compliance and accuracy. Wayne then moved into the role of Shipping & Receiving & Transportation Manager, where they managed and coordinated the inbound and outbound flow of domestic and international freight volume, and provided support to operations/warehouse for logistic related issues. In 2014, they began working at Rumex International Co. as an Assistant Manager, where they were responsible for receiving and inspection of all inbound deliveries of ophthalmic medical instruments, as well as picking and fulfilling of all back orders and small package shipping. Finally, in 2015, they began working at Ion Labs, Inc. as a Facilities Manager and then as a Logistics and Facilities Manager.

Wayne Asbell began their education journey in 1985, when they obtained an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Thomas University. Wayne then attended Georgia Southern University from 1987 to 1989, graduating with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing, Logistics, and Supply Chain Management. From 1992 to 1993, Wayne worked on their MBA at Albany State University, with a focus on Econometrics and Quantitative Economics. Finally, they completed their second BBA in Accounting and Finance from Valdosta State University in 1996 and 1997. In addition to their formal education, Wayne is also Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certified from the Management and Strategy Institute.
