Troy Colwill is a global operational and technical leader with over 18 years of experience in the mining and manufacturing industries. Currently serving as the Head of Hydrometallurgy at Ionic Mineral Technologies, Troy leads the development and scale-up of innovative aqueous-based process technologies. Previously, Troy held various roles at Rio Tinto, including Senior Engineer and Supervisor, where they focused on improving process efficiency and safety in copper smelting and precious metals production. Troy earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Waterloo in 2006.
