Jun Ho Son

Senior Vice President Finance at Ionic Partners

Jun Ho Son has a diverse and extensive work experience. Starting in 1997, they worked as a Senior Associate in Technology Investment Banking at Morgan Stanley, where they handled corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions transactions. Jun Ho then moved on to LTX-Credence, where they held various roles, including CFO of the Fusion Consumer Solutions Business Unit and Director of Corporate Development. In 2005, they joined IBM, where they progressively advanced to the positions of Vice President, Strategic Client Services ASEAN, VP, Strategic Planning, Global Technology Services, and Director, Business Development, IBM Global Services. In 2013, they became the CEO of INNOVOLT [Future of Power] and later served as the CFO. Jun Ho then held the position of CFO at Fairwinds, a cloud native infrastructure company, and HaulHub Technologies, a heavy construction performance platform. Most recently, they worked as the Senior Vice President of Finance at Ionic Partners before becoming the Chief Financial Officer at Sparkrock in 2022.

Jun Ho Son completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in History and Political Science from Williams College in 1992. Jun Ho then went on to pursue a Doctor of Law (JD) degree at the University of Virginia School of Law from 1994 to 1998. During the same period, they also obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business. Prior to their undergraduate studies, Jun Ho Son attended St. Mark's School from 1986 to 1988, where they completed their high school education.
