Hasan Mawassi is a sustainability manager at IONITY since May 2022, overseeing sustainability initiatives within the joint venture of several major automotive manufacturers. Hasan's master’s thesis focuses on assessing and enhancing sustainability performance in the electric mobility infrastructure sector. Prior to this role, Hasan worked as an engineering consultant at Dar (May 2015 - September 2021), where consulting services were provided to integrate renewable energy systems and manage multiple projects. Experience also includes a project engineer position at Samir Khairallah & Partners, along with earlier roles at Saudi Binladin Group and Bechtel Corporation as a QA/QC engineer trainee and internship trainee, respectively. Hasan holds a master’s degree in Sustainable Resource Management from the Technical University of Munich and a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the American University of Beirut. Additional education includes a program in Environmental Sciences at CZU in Prague.
