Field Services Engineer at Ionpath

Dave Mattson has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Dave began their career at micrion as a final test engineer/systems engineer from February 1996 to December 2005. Dave then worked at FEI Company as a final test engineer from March 1996 to January 1999, followed by the role of lead systems design engineer from January 1999 to December 2005.

From 2006 to 2007, they were a manufacturing electrical engineer at DANAHER CORPORATION, where they designed and built test fixtures and improved test procedures for subassemblies. Dave also worked on cable testing and troubleshooting.

At Danaher Motion, from June 2007 to November 2010, Dave held the position of lead test engineer, managing and scheduling a test group for on-time delivery. Dave also handled power-up and laser metrology for motion platforms.

From September 2011 to March 2014, they worked as a test engineer and group leader at Federal Electronics, where they monitored daily schedules, assigned priorities, and trained employees on product tests.

Dave then joined Mevion Medical Systems in June 2014 as a manufacturing engineer, electrical. In this role, they contributed to the development of proton therapy systems for cancer treatment.

At Ionpath Inc., from October 2017 to January 2021, they served as a field services engineer.

Following that, they worked at Proveris Scientific Corporation as a field services engineer from January 2021 to June 2022.

Currently, Dave is employed as a field services engineer at Ionpath, starting in June 2022.

Dave Mattson attended the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth from 1990 to 1993, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering degree.
