Daniel Riedel is a Senior Research Science Manager at IonQ since 2025 and previously held the same position at Lightsynq from 2024 to 2025. Daniel has contributed to the field of quantum research as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Stanford University and Caltech, where both positions were funded by Swiss National Science Foundation fellowships. Daniel earned a PhD in Physics with summa cum laude honors from the University of Basel and has extensive experience in experimental techniques related to photoluminescence and diamond material research. Additionally, Daniel has held positions as a Research Assistant at the University of Wuerzburg and as a Quantum Research Scientist at Amazon Web Services (AWS).
