Edward (Denny) Dahl currently serves as the Customer Success Director at IonQ, starting in October 2023. Previously, Denny held the position of Director of Quantum Applications at ColdQuanta from March 2020 to September 2023, and worked at D-Wave Systems Inc. from 2012 to February 2020 as a Principal Research Scientist and Senior Research Scientist. Denny was the CEO/CTO of Dahl Group Consultants from 2010 to 2012 and a Partner & CTO at Intersect Solutions from 2004 to 2010. Earlier experience includes a role as Project Leader at Teradata from 2000 to 2003 and independent consulting for various companies from 1998 to 2000. Denny began a career at Ab Initio as a Developer from 1995 to 1997 and founded Stone + Wire, serving as Director of Marketing from 1994 to 1995. Denny's journey started in technical marketing at Thinking Machines Corporation from 1988 to 1994. Denny holds an MS and PhD in Physics from Stanford University, as well as a BA in Math and Physics from Rice University, complemented by education from The Montgomery Academy.
