Mike Williams

Mike Williams has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Mike started their career as an Assistant Research Engineer at Applied Research Laboratories, The University of Texas at Austin in 1988. Mike then worked as a Design Engineer at National Instruments from 1990 to 1991. Mike joined Avtec Systems, Inc in 1991 as a Senior Design Engineer and later took on roles such as Director, Telemetry Products Division and Vice President, Satellite Ground Systems. Mike worked at Avtec Systems, Inc until 2006. In 2007, they joined Zeta Associates as a Senior Associate and stayed with the company until 2017. Currently, Mike is the Director of Control Systems at IonQ Inc., where they are involved in the development of general-purpose quantum computers.

Mike Williams obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, which they attended from 1983 to 1987. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the same institution, graduating in 1990.
