Ruzhou Yang has worked in a variety of roles since 2013. From 2013-2018, they were a Research/Teaching Assistant at Louisiana State University, where they conducted research on nonlinear model-based (mainly adaptive and robust) control for neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES) on human limbs. Ruzhou also simulated a hybrid predictor-based controller for NMES model with input delays and implemented the controller by Quanser Control System on health human subjects in the Nonlinear Controls & Robotics Lab of University Florida as a Visiting Researcher from 2014-2018. From 2018-2022, they were an SDMA Controls Engineer at Zoox and is currently a Senior Control Engineer at Iontra LLC.
Ruzhou Yang obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Southwest Jiaotong University between 2007 and 2011. Ruzhou then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mechanical Engineering at Louisiana State University, which they completed in 2017.
