Sunil Samachan

Sunil Samachan is an experienced IT professional specializing in cloud engineering and infrastructure, with a career spanning over a decade. Currently serving as a Senior Cloud Platforms Engineer at IOR since October 2025, Sunil has previously held senior cloud engineering roles at Fitness and Lifestyle Group and New Zealand Health Group. Sunil's expertise includes cloud systems and applications, gained during tenure at Kāinga Ora - Homes and Communities and TAS, along with foundational experience as an Application Support Analyst at Bravura Solutions and an IT Analyst at the Ministry of Health New Zealand. Sunil has a strong educational background, including a Post Graduate Diploma in Information Technology from the Wellington Institute of Technology and a Master of Computer Applications from UC College.
