Michael Smith, CISSP-ISSEP, CISM, currently serves as Field CTO at DigiCert and has extensive experience in cybersecurity and technology mentorship. At SecuritySync, Michael creates technical content focusing on various areas including Cybersecurity and IoT. As an Adjunct Instructor at ThriveDX, Michael teaches an immersive Cybersecurity Professional Bootcamp, covering topics such as Internet of Things, Linux, and Cloud. Michael also works as a Cybercrime Advisor for GreyScout, developing systems to detect counterfeit products online. In mentoring roles with organizations like .406 Ventures, MassChallenge, ICE71, and IoT Tribe, Michael supports cybersecurity startups in strategy, technology, and business development.
