Brion Ebert

Senior Hardware Engineer at IoTecha

Brion Ebert has worked in the engineering field since 1992. Brion began their career as a Senior Design and Test Engineer at Computerized Energy Management, Inc. where they participated in the product definition and architectural design of a three-tier data acquisition and control system. Brion then moved on to OpenCon Systems, Inc. where they served as Hardware Manager/Senior Hardware Engineer on hardware platforms of an Integrated Access Device and Voice Gateway. After that, they worked at Enikia, Inc. as Project Manager/Senior Engineer, revising the company's pre-existing powerline communication technology to increase system performance and add voice transport capability. From 2004 to 2011, they were Director of HW/Principal Hardware Engineer at Arkados, Inc. where they designed application-specific development platforms and proof-of-concept hardware platforms for audio and video customer designs, and prototype/production hardware designs. Most recently, they have been a Senior Hardware Engineer at IoTecha Corp since 2016, where they are responsible for designing, building, and testing of boards and modules for integration into EVSE products and systems, as well as interfacing with third-party consultants and customers for design reviews and verification.

Brion Ebert attended the State University of New York at Morrisville from 1987 to 1989, where they earned an Associates of Science in Electrical Engineering. Brion then attended the State University of New York at Binghampton from 1989 to 1991, where they earned a Bachelors of Technology in Electrical Engineering.
