Ben Groh

Ben Groh has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Ben is currently working as the Head of Data Science at iotis since May 2022. Prior to this, they operated their own consulting and data analytics business, Ben's Consulting & Data Analytics, starting in November 2017. Ben also worked as a Data Scientist at eCovery GmbH from November 2020 to April 2022. Ben gained research experience as a Research Exchange at Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) from April 2017 to September 2017. Ben completed their PHD as a PHD Student at University of Erlangen-Nuremberg from March 2013 to March 2017. Earlier in their career, Ben worked at BMW Group as a Driver Assistance Systems @Forschung&Technik from September 2011 to July 2012.

Ben Groh completed their education at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg. From 2013 to 2017, they obtained a Dr.-Ing. degree in Computer Science. Prior to that, from 2005 to 2012, they pursued a Dipl.-Ing. degree (equivalent to M.Sc.) in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering. In 2010-2011, they also completed a project thesis at Instituto de Automática e Informática Industrial (ai2) in Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV).
