IOTutors is a data-driven online learning marketplace that connects learners with expert tutors, instructors, and high-quality educational content. Operated by IOT Academy Limited and incorporated in both the United Kingdom, United States, and Nigeria, IOTutors makes professional and exam-focused education affordable, accessible, and outcome-driven — with a particular focus on underserved communities and low-bandwidth environments.

The marketplace serves three sides: learners seeking flexible, affordable preparation; tutors and content creators monetising their expertise; and institutional partners reaching new audiences at scale. Starting with professional accountancy and finance qualifications, the platform offers live and on-demand classes, structured revision resources, practice tools, and a mobile-first app built for accessibility.

Our model blends multiple revenue streams — freemium access, subscriptions, marketplace commissions, and B2B/B2B2C partnerships — creating a sustainable and scalable business. To date, IOTutors has attracted over 18,000 registered learners and 5,000+ app downloads, and generated more than £200,000 in cumulative revenue, evidencing strong demand and healthy unit economics.

By embedding analytics across the learner journey, we personalise study pathways, lift pass rates, and give partners actionable insight into engagement and outcomes. This data advantage compounds with every user, deepening retention and guiding new product development.

Aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals on quality education (SDG 4) and decent work (SDG 8), IOTutors is widening access to the skills that unlock employment and economic mobility. As we expand across new subjects and geographies, our vision is to become the trusted marketplace where ambitious learners and great educators meet.
