Michael Liu

Michael Liu is currently the Managing Director, Head of Strategy and M&A at Xiwang Group, as well as the Executive Vice Chairman, Board Director, and Chief Investment Officer at Iovate Health Sciences, based in the Greater Toronto Area of Canada. Michael has previously served as a Director in the M&A team at HSBC, where they specialized in execution and origination across various sectors, including Consumer & Retail and Oil & Gas. With over 11 years of experience at HSBC in both New York City and London, Michael played a key role in significant transactions such as advising on the acquisition of Iovate Health Sciences for $730 million. Michael is currently pursuing a BSc in Finance and Marketing with a minor in East Asian Studies at NYU Stern School of Business.
