Iowa Cover Crop was formed in 2014 by two young agricultural entrepreneurs in Greene County. Combined, Bill and James have over 12 years of experience growing cover crops. They have personally seeded rye grain, rye grass, oats, spring and winter wheat, peas, hairy vetch, common vetch, rapeseed, forage kale, crimson clover, radish, and turnips on our own farms. With our diverse experience, we can help pick the best cover crop for your operation.

Iowa Cover Crop sells nearly any type of cover crop or native grass seed and offers full service application services through the air or by ground all customized to your farm. 

We also have a dealer network which is comprised of nearly a dozen fellow farmers/small business owners that are selling our cover crops across Iowa and beyond.
