Tom Gordon

Tom Gordon is an experienced writer with a robust career spanning several decades. Currently self-employed as a writer since April 2010, Tom previously worked at The Birmingham News from 1982 to 2010 as a reporter/editor, noted for an eccentric approach. Earlier in the career, Tom served at The Anniston Star from July 1974 to February 1981 in a similar capacity. Tom holds a Master's degree in Journalism from the University of Missouri School of Journalism, obtained between 1972 and 1974, and a degree from the University of Alabama, where studies were completed from 1966 to 1970.
