Tim Murphy is the founder and chairman of IP Global Limited. Tim has over 25 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry. Prior to joining IP Global, Tim was the Chief Operating Officer of PCA Life (Prudential) from January 2002 to December 2004. Tim also served as the Alternative Distribution Director of The Prudential Assurance Co. Ltd. from January 1999 to December 2001. In addition, Tim was the Chief Executive Officer of Dah Sing Life Assurance from January 2004 to December 2005. From January 1998 to December 1999, they were the Regional Sales Manager (Bancassurance) of Prudential Corporation Asia in Jakarta and Hong Kong. Prior to that, Tim was the Head of Customer Experience of Egg:l London from January 1997 to December 1998. Tim started their career at Prudential PLC in London in 1992 and held various roles during their tenure there until 1997. Tim holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Manchester and is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries.
After completing their BA (Hons) in Sports Studies at Southampton Solent University, Tim Murphy pursued an MBA at City University London.
