Director Solutions Architecture at IP Pathways

Daniel Schrad has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Daniel began their career as a Technical Support at Gateway, Inc. in 1999. Daniel then moved on to work as a Systems Integration Coordinator at the City of Sioux City from 1999 to 2003. Following this, they worked at Arizona Western College as a Web Manager and Assistant CIS Director from 2003 to 2006. Daniel then joined the City of Des Moines as an IT Manager from 2006 to 2011. Since 2011, Daniel has been working at IP Pathways, starting as a Solutions Architect and gradually progressing to Manager of Solutions Architecture and most recently, Director of Solutions Architecture. At IP Pathways, Daniel is responsible for leading the Data Center Revolution by providing solutions that reduce complexity within IT infrastructure and optimizing application performance and security.

Daniel Schrad obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Computer Science and Business Administration from Briar Cliff University, which they attended from 1996 to 2000. Additionally, they have acquired various certifications including Tegile Certified Sales Engineer (TCSE) from Tegile, A Western Digital Brand, Cisco and NetApp FlexPod Design Specialist and Cisco and NetApp FlexPod Implementation and Administration Specialist from NetApp & Cisco, and NetApp Certified Data Administrator, ONTAP from NetApp. Daniel also holds certifications in Cisco Data Center Unified Computing Design Specialist (DCUCD), Cisco Sales Expert (CSE), F5 Technical Sales Professional from F5 Networks, NetApp Accredited Storage Architecture Professional (NASAP), NetApp Certified Data Administrator (NCDA) - 7 Mode from NetApp, Tintri Certified Systems Engineer (TCSE) from Tintri: Smart Storage That Sees, Learns and Adapts, and VMware VTSP-BC, VMware VTSP-DV, and VMware VTSP-SV from VMware.
