Fredrick Beste has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Fredrick started their career as a free lance writer for Enköpings-Posten from July 1990 to May 1991. Following this, they worked as a control systems designer at ABB from August 1987 to March 1995. During their time at ABB, they held part-time positions under different company names. Fredrick then joined SICS as an MSc student where they focused on formal logic, process algebras, and model checking for their Master's thesis from 1997 to 1998.

In 1998, Beste started their long career with Ericsson, where they held numerous roles over a span of 18 years. These roles include system verification from March 1998 to October 1999, project management from October 1999 to March 2001, system manager from March 2001 to January 2009, system area responsible from June 2004 to January 2009, senior system architect from November 2007 to January 2009, product manager from January 2009 to June 2009, system manager for OMP-SAF from June 2009 to August 2010, technical product manager from October 2010 to January 2014, main product owner from January 2014 to October 2015, and senior specialist from December 2012 to June 2016. Additionally, they were a member of the Ericsson System Architects Program (ESAP) from November 2007 to April 2013, where they contributed to the development of system architects throughout the organization.

Currently, Beste is working at IP-Solutions AB, where they started in August 2016. Fredrick has held various roles at the company, including senior consultant in IT management from August 2016, head of the business area Security from September 2022, and currently serves as the Chief Information Security Officer since March 2023.

Fredrick Beste's education history is as follows:

Fredrick earned their Bachelor's degree in Economy from Uppsala University from 1988 to 1993. During this time, from 1993 to 1998, they also pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, and logics from the same university. In 1994 to 1996, they attended KTH Royal Institute of Technology for computer science studies, and from 2000 to 2001, they completed the leadership Core Curriculum at Ericsson Academy, focusing on management.

Later, from 2001 to 2003, they studied Business Administration at Stockholm University. Before their university studies, Fredrick served in the Swedish Air Force from 1985 to 1987, where they obtained the rank of Sergeant and pursued military service related to the air force. Fredrick also attended Westerlundska Gymnasiet from 1982 to 1985, where they studied Natural Sciences.

In addition to their formal education, Fredrick has obtained several certifications, including "DevOps Foundations: DevSecOps," "GDPR Compliance: Essential Training," "Understanding the Impact of Deepfake Videos," "Artificial Intelligence Foundations: Machine Learning," "Ethical Hacking: Introduction to Ethical Hacking," "Learning Cloud Computing: Cloud Security," "Learning Hadoop," "Learning Ransomware Countermeasures," "Learning SSL/TLS," "Learning Tor and the Dark Web," "Microservices Foundations," "Securing the IoT: Introduction," and "Cybersecurity with Cloud Computing." Fredrick also holds the "Grundläggande signalskyddsutbildning" certification from FMV - Försvarets materielverk and the "Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)" certification from (ISC)². These certifications were obtained between 2018 and 2021, with specific months of completion provided.
