Johan Bredenberg

Johan Bredenberg has a diverse work experience background. Johan started their career in 2004 as a PostDoc at Florida State University, specializing in Computational Biophysics. During this time, they focused on various aspects such as Molecular Modeling, Quantum Chemistry, and Protein/Peptide-DNA/RNA interactions. Johan continued their research work at Science for Life Laboratory/Karolinska Institutet from 2013 to 2016, where they conducted experiments in molecular biology, biochemistry, and neuroscience. Johan also developed skills in bioinformatics, coding, and theoretical modeling of bio-molecular assemblies. Johan then transitioned into teaching and worked as a Teacher at Norra DjurgårdsGymnasiet from 2010 to 2013. In 2017, they joined Comex Electronics AB as a Developer, and in 2019, they joined IP-Solutions AB as a DevOps engineer, where they gained expertise in various operating systems, programming languages, scripting, and IT tools such as virtualization and network administration.

Johan Bredenberg obtained their MSc degree in Chemistry from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, where they studied from 1987 to 1997. Following this, they pursued a PhD in Structural Biochemistry & Theoretical Biophysics at Karolinska Institutet from 1997 to 2003.
