Mandy Young

Mandy Young serves as the Chief Executive of the NSW State Insurance Regulatory Authority since June 2024, overseeing the regulation of key insurance schemes in New South Wales. Additionally, Mandy is a Council Member for IPAA NSW, offering strategic advice for public administration, and a Board Member for Professional Individualised Care. Previous roles include Deputy Secretary and Chief Operating Officer at the NSW Department of Customer Service, where responsibilities encompassed leading major operational functions and revenue programs, and significant contributions in various capacities within the NSW Department of Family and Community Services. Mandy has extensive experience in crisis counseling and reform initiatives aimed at improving service delivery and outcomes for vulnerable populations. Mandy holds a Bachelor of Social Work degree from UNSW.
