Jeff Hanson

Jeff Hanson has over 30 years of experience in the software development industry. Jeff is currently working at Urban FT as the SVP of IT Operations since January 2022. Previously, they held the position of Vice President of Software Development at Urban FT from April 2019 to February 2022.

Before that, Jeff worked at Walser Automotive Group as the Director of Software Development from January 2016 to April 2019. Jeff was responsible for managing distributed Software Engineers, Data Analysts, and Quality Assurance.

Prior to that, Jeff was the Manager of Application Development at Rudolph Technologies from September 2015 to January 2016. Jeff managed a team of distributed Software Engineers specializing in silicon wafer inspection.

From 2009 to 2015, Jeff served as the Director of Software Development at Wireless Ronin Technologies/Creative Technologies. Jeff was responsible for managing distributed Software Engineers, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Technical Writing, including offshore. Before that, they held the position of Lead Software Engineer at the same company from 2004 to 2009.

Between 2002 and 2004, Jeff owned their own software development company called Bengt Software, LLC, which specialized in software development for the education and entertainment industry.

From 1994 to 2002, Jeff worked as the Vice President of Engineering at Window Painters Ltd., a software development company focusing on interactive titles and graphics utilities.

Jeff began their career at Control Data Systems/Metaphase Technologies as a Software Engineer from 1987 to 1994. Jeff was involved in designing, developing, presenting, managing, and supporting various software solutions.

Jeff Hanson attended the University of Minnesota Duluth from 1982 to 1987. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mathematics and Computer Science.
