Aboudou SORO is a Health Economist currently serving as the Regional Policy and Partnership Advisor at Ipas. With a background in Health Economics from the African Centre for Advanced Studies in Management, SORO has addressed critical issues in financial access to healthcare, reproductive and sexual health, and health financing. Previously, SORO worked as an Advocacy Officer at NGO Médecins du Monde and contributed to various research projects, including an economic evaluation of malaria prevention strategies in Senegal and a cost-benefit analysis of rural sanitation in the country. Additionally, SORO gained experience at the World Health Organization in Senegal, focusing on health financing and management.
