Cheri Poss is an experienced professional in program evidence and public health. Currently serving as Associate Director, Program Evidence at Ipas since March 2011, Cheri supports the organization in designing and implementing strategies for learning from global programs to enhance impact. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Technical Advisor and Technical Advisor at Ipas, where Cheri focused on research, monitoring, and evaluation across Africa and Asia. Previously, Cheri was an Associate Technical Officer for Global Projects at Family Health International, managing a significant research award and financial reporting. Additional roles include Graduate Assistant at UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health, Constituent Services Intern at the United States Senate, and intern with UNDP, where involvement included participatory research for women’s microenterprises in Kenya. Cheri holds an MSPH in Health Policy and Management from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a BA in Political Science from the University of Minnesota.
