Dr Mike Mpoyi

Dr. Mike Mpoyi is a Technical Director at Ipas DRC & Burundi, bringing extensive experience as a medical doctor and public health professional. They have over 12 years of expertise in health system strengthening, project management, and implementation, particularly in reproductive health and infectious diseases across Africa. Dr. Mpoyi previously served as the Principal Chief Executive Officer at ACCESS CARE RDC, where they founded a national non-profit health maintenance organization dedicated to increasing healthcare access for vulnerable populations. They also held managerial roles at Premium Health Limited and served as a Health Systems Advisor, providing oversight for women's sexual and reproductive health initiatives. Dr. Mpoyi was a Mandela Washington Fellow at Drake University in 2019.
