Jamie V. is a human rights researcher and advocate focusing on gender justice and the monitoring of far-right, anti-gender movements. Currently a Senior Researcher at Ipas since 2021, Jamie researches the impact of these movements on sexual and reproductive health rights and LGBTQI+ rights. Previously, Jamie served as a Senior Research and Policy Analyst at PAI from 2017 to 2021 and conducted critical research on child abuses in Haitian orphanages as a Researcher at Lumos from 2015 to 2017. Earlier in their career, Jamie was a Senior Coordinator at Human Rights Watch from 2010 to 2015, leading projects on various human rights issues in East Africa. Jamie is currently pursuing education at Georgetown University.
