Margie Doggett has a diverse work experience in various roles related to corporate business applications, knowledge management, and library systems coordination. Margie served as the Director of Corporate Business Applications at Ipas, leading a team responsible for supporting ERP, content management, and data visualization for staff in multiple countries. Prior to this role, they were the Senior Manager of Corporate Business Applications at the same organization. At Ipas, they also worked as an Application Manager, overseeing teams focused on knowledge services, intranet management, and web development. Before joining Ipas, Margie held positions at FHI 360 as an Associate Director of Knowledge Management and a Sr Library Systems Coordinator. Margie was responsible for enhancing knowledge sharing and managing the SharePoint platform at FHI 360. Margie's early career included a role as a Reference Librarian at Duke University's Medical Center Library, where they developed and taught courses on internet use and created guides for internet tools and resources.

Margie Doggett holds a Master of Library Science (MLIS) degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, which they obtained from 1991 to 1993. Margie also has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Journalism and French from the same university, earned between 1985 and 1989. In addition, Margie spent a year studying French at the University of Montpellier from 1987 to 1988. Recently, in May 2021, they obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
