Cory Blaylock has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries. Starting in 2004, Cory worked as an Educator for the Texas Independent School Districts for over a decade. In 2013, Cory joined STEMscopes by Accelerate Learning, Inc. as a Contributing Writer/Consultant until 2019. Following that, Cory joined Lockheed Martin in 2015, first as an Engineering Planner, then as a Sr. Training & Development Representative, and finally as a Project Management and Planning Operations Staff member. In 2023, Cory assumed the role of Director, Workforce Partnerships at IPC.
Cory Blaylock earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Fort Hays State University from 2000 to 2003. Following this, Cory pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Science Education at Montana State University-Bozeman, which was completed between 2012 and 2014.
In addition to their formal education, Cory has also obtained several certifications. Cory received a Certificate of Completion for the Lockheed Martin - Career Development Technician Registered Apprenticeship from the U.S. Department of Labor in September 2021. Furthermore, Cory holds a CIT J-STD-001 certification from IPC-Association Connecting Electronics Industries and a Green Belt Certification from Lockheed Martin, although the specific dates of completion for these certifications are not provided.
