Gemma Devir

Gemma Devir is a privacy lawyer currently serving as Legal Counsel at the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario since 2024. With a robust educational background, Gemma earned a Doctor of Law (JD) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Toronto, in addition to a Bachelor of Arts Honours in Art History from Queen's University. Gemma has held various positions, including Articling Student and Privacy Associate at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP, and a Summer Intern at the Royal Ontario Museum. Through roles in educational and cultural institutions, Gemma has demonstrated a commitment to engagement and advocacy in the field of privacy law.
