Cheng Wei Chang

Cheng Wei (Max) Chang is a Taiwan Patent Attorney and Principal Technical Specialist at IPD Analytics, where they provide patent and regulatory analysis for pharmaceutical products in Taiwan and China. Since joining IPD Analytics in 2020, Cheng has completed over 700 drug analyses, becoming adept at navigating the complexities of the regulatory landscape, including patent linkage and accelerated drug marketing processes. Previously, they worked at PharmaDax, where they successfully invalidated a key formulation patent in Taiwan and contributed to business development initiatives. Cheng also served as a manager at Proguide IP Law Firm, overseeing a team of patent engineers and developing IP strategies. They hold a master's degree in technology management and a bachelor's degree in chemistry from National Chung-Hsing University, complemented by law courses from National Taiwan University. Additionally, Cheng is the founder of "IP Touring," a platform dedicated to sharing intellectual property stories.
