Gaston Ocampo

Gaston Ocampo is an experienced professional with a background in international relations and business administration, currently serving as the Secretary General at IPDAL since March 2019. Ocampo leads various initiatives in a strategic capacity, overseeing operations and optimizing resources. Additionally, in the role of Director of the IPDAL Academy, Ocampo fosters transatlantic collaboration among future leaders in Lusophone countries. Previous experience includes advising on North American public diplomacy at IPDAL and engaging in city diplomacy initiatives at the Inter-American Dialogue. Ocampo’s career also features roles in public relations, research assistance, and change management, with a strong academic foundation from institutions such as Roanoke College and The London School of Economics.
