Benjamin Walter

Benjamin Walter is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in infrastructure debt investment. Currently serving as a Director at Allianz Global Investors since 2017, Benjamin leads the Investment Team for Infrastructure Debt Europe and has successfully structured and closed over €3 billion in transactions. In addition to this role, Benjamin is a Germany Council Member at the International Project Finance Association, contributing to global infrastructure financing efforts. Prior to Allianz, Benjamin held the position of Vice President at BlackRock, focusing on infrastructure investments and capital raising, and served as an Associate at Deutsche Bank in structured finance for infrastructure and energy. Benjamin holds an MSc in Management from ESCP Business School.
