Bree Miechel

Bree Miechel is a Partner specializing in Projects and Energy Transition at Ashurst, bringing over 20 years of experience in legal advisory across infrastructure sectors, including energy, oil and gas, and commercial real estate. With a strong background in both private practice and in-house roles, Bree has provided strategic counsel on complex projects while also serving as an industry thought leader, drafting a new FIDIC contract form and leading initiatives like the IRENA/Terrawatt Initiative’s Open Solar Contracts project. Bree's past roles include acting as Head of Legal at Alstom Transport in East Asia and holding various committee positions with organizations such as the Society of Construction Law Singapore and Women in Energy Asia. Bree holds multiple degrees, including an LLM with Distinction from The University of Hong Kong and a BA/LLB from the University of Sydney.
