Caroline Lytton

Caroline Lytton is the Chief Operating Officer at Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment, where they oversee operations. Previously, they served as Executive Director and Head of Oil, Gas & Petrochemicals Execution at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, leading significant financial advisory roles in the energy sector from 2007 to 2019. Caroline also held multiple managing director positions within SMBC, focusing on power, renewables, and sustainable finance. Earlier in their career, they worked at Société Générale in project finance and as a consultant at Operis. Caroline’s educational background includes an MPhys in Physics from the University of Oxford.
