Helga van Peer

Helga Van Peer is an experienced legal professional currently serving as an IPFA Belgium Council Member since April 2022 and an External Procurement Oversight Panel Member at the European Stability Mechanism since August 2021. Van Peer has held non-executive board positions with several organizations, including President of Relaunch for the Future and Non Executive Board Member at Child Focus Belgium and TINC Manager. Previously, Van Peer was a Partner and Global Head of Public Law at Allen & Overy from 2000 to 2020 and began legal training at Loeff Claeys Verbeke. Van Peer holds a Law Degree from KU Leuven and has furthered education at prestigious institutions such as Luiss Business School and Harvard Law School.
