Ruben Kenis

Ruben Kenis is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Counsel at NautaDutilh, a role Ruben has held since February 2019 after progressing from Senior Associate to Associate within the Banking & Finance Department, specializing in project finance, public-private partnerships, real estate finance, and bank lending. In addition to their legal practice, Ruben Kenis is a member of the NautaDutilh Young Professionals Board, providing insights on millennial perspectives to the firm’s leadership. Ruben also serves as a Teaching Assistant at KU Leuven, focusing on contract law, and chairs the Belgium Future Leaders Network Committee at the International Project Finance Association, advocating for early to mid-career members in the energy and infrastructure sectors. Prior to these roles, Ruben garnered experience as a Legal Advisor at KBC Autolease and as an Associate at buyle legal and Sirius Legal, among others, after earning a Master of Laws in Business and Tax Law and a Bachelor of Laws from KU Leuven.
