Amit Engineer

Amit Engineer is an accomplished software engineering manager with extensive experience spanning over two decades in the semiconductor and automation industries. Currently serving as a Software Engineering Manager at IPG Photonics since July 2015, Amit has also held the position of Principal Software Engineer at both ESI and GSI Group, where responsibilities included the design, development, and troubleshooting of sophisticated software for various semiconductor equipment. Prior to this, Amit was a Project Leader at Contech Software, focusing on the development of semi-intelligent display and automobile configuration products, and served as a Sr. Software Engineer at Samyak Instrumentation Pvt. Ltd., where development of automation systems for major refineries was a key role. Amit holds a BE in Computer Science from Gujarat University and has furthered education at Villanova University.
