Dan Mortenson

Dan Mortenson is a Senior Software Engineer and Mathematician at IPG Photonics, where they write backend software for robotic systems focused on laser applications. Dan previously served as a Technology Analyst at Dandrew Capital Partners, LLC, and later worked as a Private Tutor for the ACT and various Math and Science subjects. They completed research as a Research Assistant at both the Rochester Institute of Technology and Brigham Young University, developing advanced software algorithms and neural network architectures. Dan holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied and Computational Mathematics from Brigham Young University and a Master of Science in Computational and Applied Mathematics from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
