Timothy King

Timothy King has over three decades of experience in intellectual property law, currently serving as the Global Intellectual Property Manager at IPG Photonics since September 2011. Prior to this role, Timothy held positions as Assistant General Counsel for Intellectual Property at Entegris, Inc., overseeing the IP function following its merger with Mykrolis, and at Mykrolis Corporation, where Timothy managed IP during its spin-off from Millipore. Timothy's expertise was further developed through earlier roles at Millipore Corporation and Allergan, focusing on patent application drafting and prosecution in the fields of filtration materials, therapeutics, and agricultural products. Timothy began a legal career at Cooper & Dunham LLP and Gray Cary Ware & Freidenrich, contributing to patent litigation and IP documentation. Timothy holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and a Juris Doctor from Fordham University.
