Trevor Ness

Trevor Ness has an extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Trevor started their career as the General Manager Sales in Japan at Westwind Air Bearings K.K in 2000 and held this position until 2004. Trevor then moved to Westwind Air Bearings as the General Manager Taiwan from 2004 to 2005. Subsequently, they joined GSI Group Precision Technologies (Suzhou) as the General Manager from 2005 to 2011. After that, Trevor joined IPG Photonics where they held multiple positions, including Vice President - Asian Operations from 2011 to 2013, Senior Vice President Global Sales & Marketing from 2013 to 2022, and currently serves as the Senior Vice President Sales & Strategic Business Development. In this role at IPG Photonics, they are responsible for global sales and marketing, strategic business development, partnerships, technology and product development, and key customer relationships.

Trevor Ness obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree from Imperial College London between 1990 and 1994. Trevor pursued a Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Production Engineering at Bournemouth University from 1994 to 1996. Eventually, in 1999 to 2001, Trevor completed an MBA with a specialization in Technology Management from The Open University.
